Asad Shafique retirement from all format of the cricket he was a very impressive middle order batsman.
Now after the retirement he is going to take up his position as national selector national selector.
Asad is a former pakistani cricketer who play for pakistan national team between 2010 and 2020.

Asad shafique was a key member of Mishbah ul haq led side that reached no 1 test ranking.
Asad shafaique also holds the record for the most centuries at no 6 position among the batters which plays at this number.
Asad who is know 37 year old was a most important part of mishbah ul haq test side in 2010.
Playing most vital role in their rise to the top ten of the test ranking in the august 2016.
Last Farewell match
Asad announced his retirement on sunday after captianing the karachi whites side to national t2o title beat abbotabad in the final.
He has agreed to played three games for department side SNGPL in the returning patron the first class tournament.
Department team because the will be missing several player away on test duty.
But effectively the t20 final was his farewell match.
Last Match For Pak
Shafique played the last of his 77 tests for pak in 2020 nearly 10 years after his debut.
He had been regular on the domestic circuit sice though he also said that after the final game he was no longer feeling as excited about game.
After dropping from the team he does not make much impact on selector through his perfomance that they again select him.
He said after dropping from team in 2020 i kept on playing domestic cricket for three year to get back in team.
But before starting of this season I had decide this would be my last season and tomorrow he asad shafique retirement taken from all formats.
Asad t20 perfomance
Asad shafique play only 10 t20 matches for pak in which he scores 192 runs and does not make much impact.
In the t20 domestic cricket he played total 128 matches and score 2702 runs with average of 24.
In the last two years asad does well in t20 cricket after getting dropped from national team.
He does very in kpl but after this good perfomane he does not even get chance in psl stage.
He also played first two three seasons of psl for quetta gladiators where his perfomance was not up to mark.
Asad perfomance in ODIs
Asad play 60 one day matches for in which he score 1336 run with 24 average and very less strike rate of 67.
This shows that asad gets a proper chance in the one day cricket but he does not avail these chances.
In list A cricket asad played 162 matches scores 5784 runs with the averages of 41.
After dropping from the national team asad does work on his power hitting that improve his strike rate.
In that case asad can play important role in odi cricket team in middle order which was looking bit weaker side.
But selectors does not give asad shafique any sort of chance to show his potential.
According to my opinion pak team middle order was not to expiernce which proved a big cause of failure against big team in the world cup 2023.
If selector picks him in the team it can be proved very good because he was one of best middle order batsman in pak cricket.
Asad perfomance in Test cricket
This is one format in which asad does perfomed very well for the test side this is one format which suits him most.
Asad played 77 test match for pak in which he scores 4660 runs with an average of 38.
This is the format in which asad makes some records and played some very good innings.
At the no 6 six position he was the one of finest batsman in the world cricket.
He was very much used to for playing with the tail and he scores lots of runs at this position for pakistan.
In the first class asad shafique played 191 matches in his career and scores 12042 runs with an average of 41,
After dropping from pakistan team asad scores so much runs and try to comback in team but he does not impress the selectors.
